Read it on the bus to NYC. A good fiction book for a bus or plane ride or an afternoon by the pool. Sometimes you just want a nice easy read with sex, intrigue, a stupid criminal, money hungry people cheating on other people with low morals, all set in California! Yeah Jackie!Ummmm, I didn't really enjoy this very much. I thought it would be much more scandalous then it was. I kept waiting for the really juicy stuff to happen but it never came. The writing was well done, though and I think I'm left short because I have read some racy stuff. This,made me giggle some and made me question the kind of people that were being described but it was entertainment.
I just LOVE Jackie Collins writing style! She is an EASY read & trashy & FUN! I enjoy picking up one of her books after I finish a "dark" or "heavy" read. Can't wait to read another - well, after maybe a John Grisham / or Jullian Hoffman... LOL!!! ENJOYED IT!

Always love a good Jackie Collins bookVery good and can't complain. Wild ride enjoyable reading. A mix of crime, erotic, salacious gossip and romance a perfect mix.
The way the cast characters individual lives intersect with each other throughout jackie collins's novel was well paced. and though her depictions of rape and sexual abuse in her fiction novels are most disturbing in their brutality; i think this was done to put emphasis on the fact that rape and sexual abuse are horrible crimes that hurt people in multiple ways.But with that said jackie collins writing is still clever and her books are worth reading and buying for people that don't get
