Loved it! This book would be great for kids who can read but don't have a big attention span. It looks like a novel but most of the page space is occupied by pictures. I thought the ice cream flavours (78!) were fabulous!

I read this book (and The 13-Storey Treehouse) with my son. He had just turned five and the book was so thoroughly hilarious to both him and me. As was the case with The 13-Storey Treehouse, he felt somewhat uneasy about certain plot points (the mermaid and such).
