I enjoyed the book and read it quickly? I appreciate a story of suspense from a Christian author.

I think I needed more character development. I just didn't "care" about the characters.

The story started out slowly at first but I did enjoy it once it picked up. I felt though as though I missed something at first; some of the characters seemed to have a backstory from a previous series (this is the first in a new series of books set in a different town than her previous books) and every now and then there were mentions of previous occurrences and I felt as though I should remember what had happened in the previous series.
