As I look at the reviews of others, I see people either hated this book or loved it. After reading the reviews of several of those that hated the book, I have to wonder if they really read the book. They don't seem to have much of substance to say. As I read this book, I was taken aback as I considered all that I had been taught in the public school system. The Venona project revealed that nearly all of the people McCarthy questioned were not only sympathizers with the Communist Party, but were actual agents of the KGB.
