This book is not as good as the other books by Ika Natassa that I read before (C11 & TAOL). Well it's expected, the author already improved much considering this book is her first published novel. The story is a typical romance you see a lot on FTV, not so special even if that so like Ika Natassa's touch makes it a little better. I would not write much. To be honest, I don't like the story. Most of the conflict kind of like walking at the same spot, it's boring and annoying ( and I amI read d review in cleo magz n decided to buy this book.. my first thought wow hectic wedding preparation of super busy couple.. by a writer who really know what she wrote.. hmnn tempting.. I found the book very interesting with light story line and unique main idea.. so unlike indonesian writer.. lovee it.. but later it started to pissed me of.. why u have to put branded thingy in most of d conversations?? some like "who can resist a hugo?" or "she tried d comme des garcon shirt" still
I normally don't read books in Indonesian but this particular one caught my eye. I gotta say I quite enjoyed it.It's not that bad, but it's not that great either. The characters are pretty mediocre. Nothing stands out. But I just have to give it a three because it did make me laugh on some parts. And it did keep me interested.I am looking forward to read more of Natassa's books.
Kehidupan perfectnya andrea bikin mupeng tapi...yah..apa maksd titlenya a very yuppy wedding..but the wedding it self not being described at all!...but seru bgt melihat kehidupan campur aduk antara pekerjaan - backstreet...hehe dan sosok pacar yg almost perfect dari si mas adjienya...hehe...
I read it because the author is very popular. so I queue at Ijak to read it.
It's a cliche description of a socialite in Jakarta. It's not very relatable to the general population of Indonesia basically, but then if the story is like that, the it is what it is. Andrea is potrayed as an ambitious career woman who are going through a relationship issue. The issues are there, gender inequality when it comes to job position for top management, inter-racial marriage, in-laws relationship, insecurity and relationship, wedding ceremony anxiety, and shopaholic tendency. But then
An overwhelming love story. Romantic yet so annoying. I love it when a before marriage tragedy happen between them two.
