I have liked all of Julia Quinn's books that I have read. But this one really touched my heart. We have already come to know Dunford from the previous books. He is a charmer and a rake. Determined never to marry, he inherits a title and a small estate in Cornwall from a very distant unknown relative. The pig was the real star of this book. That should tell you something. Series: IndeedSexy times: A few, I think. Nothing sticks with me. Plan on reading more by the author: It's JQ. I seriously, seriously enjoyed this book.Quite simply, I love it!Minx was funny, sweet and romantic, the characters were so descriptively written and well developed. A true romance book with the happy ending.I highly recommend this book,as well as the rest of J. Quinn's work.

This was a re-read. I liked it better the first time, but it was still enjoyable.I thoroughly enjoyed Henry (the heroine). She had so many modern sensibilities. The writing was funny and intriguing. I finished quickly.

Re-read December 10-11, 2012 - just re-read this book, and I don't know what the hell I was thinking!! Probably a three star book for me this time. The conflict was annoying and there wasn't enough action, too much talk!------------------------------January 2012: I think this is officially my favorite Julia Quinn book! I LOVED this book so much. I could not stop laughing throughout. These two characters, Henry and Dunford, will definitely go down in my all-time favorite couple category for sure.

4.5 STARSJust finished reading Minx by Julia Quinn and I LOVED IT. If you love HR or the guardian/ward trope, there's a chance you'll enjoy this one as much as I did. It was suuuper entertaining with lots of great banter and really fun characters. MINX was sexy, sweet, funny and a little tiny bit forbidden, angsty and scandalous. I'm now off to reading the first two books in this trilogy (I know, I know...I broke my own rule and skipped to the third book, gah! Book gods, please forgive my sins 🙏

I loved Dunford since the first book, and I was waiting for his book to read.I really enjoyed his love story with Henry (Henrietta). She was very different from Emma and Belle, but I liked her boyish character.One tiny negative thing is that in the end I would prefered them to realize the truth earlier, because the misunderstanding went a bit too long.
