Representaion To Books Malice

In her 37th bestselling novel, Danielle Steel tells the compelling story of a woman who must struggle to overcome a shattering betrayal, and the cruelest kind of malice.

At seventeen, the night of her mother's funeral, Grace Adams is attacked. It is not the first time, and a brutal crime ensues.

And to everyone's horror, Grace will not tell the truth. She is a young woman with secrets too horrible to tell, with hurts so deep they may never heal. She is also beautiful enough for men to want her no matter how much she does not want them. Whatever the outcome, Grace Adams will have to live with whatever happened during those terrible years. After a lifetime of being a victim, now she must pay the price for other people's sins.

From the depths of an Illinois women's prison to a Chicago modeling agency to a challenging career in New York, Grace must carry the past with her wherever she goes. And in healing her own pain, she reaches out to battered women and children who live a nightmare she knows all too well.

When Grace meets Charles Mackenzie, a New York lawyer, she has found a man who wants nothing from her--except to heal her, to hear her secrets, and to give her the family she so desperately wants. But, with happiness finally within her grasp, and precious loved ones to protect, Grace is at her most vulnerable--in danger of losing everything to a vicious tabloid press and an enemy from her past, an enemy bent on malice at all costs.

With rare insight and power, Danielle Steel writes this extraordinary woman's story, portraying her struggle to triumph over malice and betrayal, and to transform a lifetime of pain into a blessing for others. Revealing both the stark reality of domestic abuse and the healing power of love, Malice, is more than superb fiction. It is a piece of life.

Piece Based On Books Malice
Great read! emotional but it's a wonderfully written story told from beginning to the end (paperback!)

Trash, trash, trash. Wow, this is garbage. I took it off my late mother's bookshelves, knowing that her taste in books was questionable (while respecting that she read a lot), but thinking I shouldn't criticise without reading. Well, it fulfilled every negative expectation I had. The prose is pedestrian; the characters two-dimensional; the plot twists unrealistic. There are two types of character: Good and Bad. There are brief moments when a Bad character might appear Good, but it's never

Leave it Steel to start off great, then spectacularly crash the plane into a ground. Why, Steel. Why? This started so great. I was in love. The beginning was powerful, phenomenal, even. I loved the shift to evil, the big reveal of Grace's father. I felt for Grace so much. Then Steel had to make so maple-syrup sweet to the point of illness. Grace goes to prison, and, while I'm glad that part wasn't lingered on too much-That would've been boring-the whole thing was just done too cleanly. Grace

Danielle Steele was never going to win the Pulitzer, but boy can she tell a good story. This book was riveting for the entire 400 pages. Grace Adams goes to prison at age 17 years old for shooting her father. Her story and the way she deals with adversity and triumphs over it, will keep the reader mesmerized.

This has to be my favorite Daniele Steel book. The novel starts with a 17 year-old girl wrapping up from her mother's funeral with her father. Her father is a respectable lawyer in a small town whom everyone absolutely loves. Inside the home, he is an abusive and sadistic father and hustband. The last straw for his daughter was the night of her mommy's funeral - he rapes her once again and she shoots him...The story takes off from there. After the first three chapters, the book takes off into her

This story was just.... WOW!! Every time Grace turned around she was being abused and mistreated by people. When she was 13 years old her parents abused her terribly until she was 17. Her mom passed away when Grace was 17 and on the night of her funeral Graces's dad abuses her again, she can't take anymore so she kills him. No one believes her stories of abuse because her dad was the town golden boy, he became a lawyer that served his community and was well known and well liked so people refused

This book was so intense!! I had no idea it would be that depressing to read it!!RTC.
