Dangerous: Risky Business / Storm Warning / The Welcoming
She was a maddening combination of mystery and innocence. But Liz was the key to finding his brother's killer, so cynical Jonas Sharpe had to stick closetoo close for comfort.
"Storm Warning"
He had shattered her world once, but when Lucas MacLean reentered Autumn's life, she couldn't deny the love still blazing inside her or the evidence she had that said he could be guilty of murder.
"The Welcoming"
He'd never known the warmth of a home until he found his way to Charity's innand into her arms. But Roman DeWinter had come looking for a criminal mastermind and all evidence pointed to Charity."
Risky BusinessThis was a decent story. While the plot was predictable and easily resolved (with a little feel-good twist up at the end), it allowed for complex characters with complex motivations. Jonas fancied himself 'not a nice guy' but really he was. His behavior at the beginning wasn't all that bad (standoffish, cold, willing to do whatever is necessaryincluding using Lizto find his brother's killer) and really all came from his profound grief. Liz was a good, strong character. I think she
Three very nice romances. I especially liked the middle one as there was no sex (it was implied) and that made such a refreshing change from the usual romance novels which normally should be classed as pornography

I like when they started publishing these 3 in 1. I don't have to wait for the short little books. This trilogy was a fast read. Classic Ms. Roberts with good dialog and lovely romance. I like her characters. They are such likeable people.
This is a collection of three stories:1. Risky Business: 1 star2. Storm Warning: 1/2 star3. The Welcoming: 2 1/2 starsThe truth is, they were all too short to be fulfilling in the suspense department; 150 pages just is not enough time to create a truly scary villain and suspense and romance at the same time. Also, the romance in "Risky Business" and especially "Storm Warning" was just really off, with two thoroughly unsatisfying male leads. Lucas in "Storm Warning" is just an absolute jerk and
This is actually a trio of Nora Roberts' books in one volume. The three stories are good for casual reading that doesn't make you work hard. I read it while sick in bed, so it served my purpose. If I were giving each story a rating I would give Risky Business and Storm Warning three stars and The Welcoming would get four stars. The Welcoming had well developed and memorable characters. Not only were the main characters fleshed out well, but the other minor characters were also interesting.
A great mystery, three different ones.

Dangerous contains three of Roberts earlier novels: Risky Buisness, Storm Warning, and The Welcoming. Although Risky Buisness was good, I could not get into the other two stories; therefore the low rating. Normally a Roberts fan, I was suprised to find I did not like the other stories in this collection. I don't mean to imply that they were bad (Roberts can not write anything bad in my opinion), I just could not get into them. Perhaps it was the suspense aspect and/or the setting of the stories.Risky BusinessThis was a decent story.
