I wanted to like this soooooo bad. Everytime I see a book with all good reviews, I don't like it. I think I'm cursed.

Nate is the lamest player in the history of players. What's with the bad pickup lines? And what kind of idiot falls for them?!

“I didn’t catch your name, wait let me guess it……. I bet it’s Candy; because damn you look good enough to eat.” WHAT?!!!!


“Well hi there, you know what? I’m glad you came over because my neck was starting to hurt where I was sneaking sly glances at you when you weren’t looking.”

I rest my case.

Rose did not seem like a single mum. More like a teenager with her first boyfriend. One minute confident, the next giggling 15 year old.

In the beginning, I was rooting for the couple, until he cheated. I hate cheaters, especially ones who don't have a good reason.

"I honestly thought she was with that guy." Why not wait and ask like a grown up?

And Rose just lets it go...

"My body desperately wanted him to make me fall into oblivion with his name on my lips."

That is not a good reason to be with someone whose first reaction to bad news is sleeping with someone else. I mean you call him "Player"!!

Personally he seemed to surpass the typical man-whore stereotypes and take it one step further. Every night Nate has a new girl, hell, maybe even more than one a day. Its his life, basically sex is the only release he knows. Actually having a girlfriend? Yeah, right, not this man. I was quickly sucked into this story. Ive read other books by this author and loved them all. Slowly



Yawnnnn. Seriously! When I got this book I was excited to read it as page after page I was bored. I gave up on this book around the time Rosie got all hypocritical on Nate about him sleeping with another girl. She acted like she was cheated on I mean really.. You hid the fact that you had a son from him and also told him you had a man. As far as I'm concerned its all on her. You can't just make a guy feel like he's been blind sided and expect him to wait like a good boy for you to come give him

4.5*** Loved Nate and Rosie's character. I really enjoyed Nate's pick-up lines and had a few laughs. These characters were not perfect nor was their love story.Rosie has a son from a previous relationship which she got hurt from and is very guarded.Nate's a player and takes a bad move on his part but was glad he came clean and fessed up.The chemistry between them slowly builds as they get to know each other and barriers come down. Rosie's son DJ is a sweet little kid who constantly gets let down

Simply epic yet again from Kirsty, can this lady do no wrong!!!! Nope lol. I loved Nate in NLTL and wanted more so I was rather excited when I found out Mate was having his own book. I loved Nate & Rosie's story, it gripped from beginning to end, he was do sweet but guarded at the same time. He didn't know if he could or should fall for Rosie's but I'm so glad that he did.
