Loved it!I really did not enjoy the read. The story could have been interesting, but the writing style did not show any sign of quality. No suspense, no compassion...I will not try reading another novel from Levy.
Sadness, melancholy and nostalgie through all pages. Deep feelings, strong connections and hope all through the whole way. Life happens... with all its colors, twists, illogical events and strong implications...
Bought it because of the writer, but didn't really know what the story will be like. This book has really surprised me... easy to read, but it brought tears to my eyes, and not just once. Nice and clear.
I dont know what I expected from this book. It was lying around in a friends shelve and I had nothing really to do. Knowing Marc Levy I thought it would bother me after a while. But lets say I finished it, and it wasnt because of its charming characters.Susan was way to egoistic and at the same time needy for my taste. Peter was too dependend on her. I felt a kind of hate that I always get when people are just whiny and dont start doing something with their stuff. What kept me reading were
