I knew it was coming, but I wasn't ready. I can't believe this is the end! It was amazing!

This is one of those books where you close the cover and long to write a glowing review of its positively poignant merits, but cannot bring yourself to do it without listing your gripes about it because you know it's flawed. First, I would like to conduct a short rant. It goes as follows: This story is moving enough without the author having to hammer you in the head with, "This is the moral of the story! Did you hear me, that's the moral! That's what I want you to know!" It's cheesy, and

Whatever else happens, if you havent yet had the pleasure of this delightful, quirky series dont start here. It is the culmination of a twelve-book series packed with all sorts of adventures as a small boy, the heir to the Chief of the Hooligan Tribe, struggles to survive and overcome insanely difficult odds. And this current crisis hes facing is the most insurmountable of the lot. He is fighting for the survival of humanity and/or the dragons as they are set to fight each other to extinction,

This was a fantastic ending to a series that I loved more than I thought I would. (Thank you David Tennant for reading these, otherwise I probably never would have read these physical books.) The story progressed from a little boys book filled with misfortune and potty jokes to a complex series with some really good life lessons.Since this is a book series for kids, I try to review them with that in mind. These last few books have had some really really great morals and life lessons about

It could have been a 3 star read, but, as always, the emotional epilogue pushed it up a rating. (How do these epilogues always manage to wring a tear or two out of me?)This book is the final one of the series, a culmination in which we are to learn whether or not all dragons will be destroyed. I'd say that, overall, this book does (and is) exactly what most fans will be expecting, so I won't go into too much detail. The only minor complaint I have is that, after so many adventures together, I

I'm rarely that emotional about a book series, but How to Train Your Dragon books have truly got me. What started out as a lighthearted funny series ended up as a true emotional roller coaster. As much as I hated the bittersweet ending, I think it was exactly the one the series needed.
