See Jane Score (Chinooks Hockey Team #2)
A little subdued. A little stubborn. A little tired of going out on blind dates with men who drive vans with sofas in the back, Jane Alcott is living the Single Girl existence in the big city. She is also leading a double life. By day, she's a reporter covering the raucous Seattle Chinooks hockey team—especially their notorious goalie Luc Martineau. By night, she's a writer, secretly creating the scandalous adventures of "Honey Pie"...the magazine series that has all the men talking.
See Jane spar
Luc has made his feelings about parasite reporters—and Jane—perfectly clear. But if he thinks he's going to make her life a misery, he'd better think again.
See Jane attract
For as long as he can remember, Luc has been single minded about his career. The last thing he needs is a smart mouthed, pain in the backside, reporter digging into his past and getting in his way. But once the little reporter shed her black and gray clothes in favor of a sexy red dress, Luc sees that there is more to Jane than originally meets the eye.
Maybe it's time to take a risk. Maybe it's time to live out fantasies. Maybe it's time to....

Funny, touching, romantic, and interesting all at once, I loved this story! It was absolutely perfect for the mood I was in. My first read by RG and I can't wait to read more.A few things I loved about See Jane Score:1. The heroine isn't TSTL at all! She's professional, mature, and sweet. I loved Jane.2. The hero is absolutely swoon-worthy, but not overly cliched. 3. The relationship between Jane and Luc develops naturally and realistically. 4. No over-the-top drama in here. Thank God. 5.

2.5*I think I'll definitely have to pause this series here, while for the first half of the book Jane was an amazing h,she was funny, strong and didn't take crap from the guys around her, by the time Luc actually started paying her some attention she changed. He'd always though her to be plain and we know he hooked up at least once with someone else. It's only when she has a makeover does he really sit up and take notice. By 80% he was still wondering if he was in love with her. These books are
Another enjoyable read by Rachel Gibson. This only my second book by her and I really like her writing style. She gives you sweet, sexy and just the right amount of angst. This is Jane and Luc's story. I loved the 'plain Jane' catching the attention of the unattainable hot hockey player. The push and pull between them had me flipping the pages. It did take a bit of time for things to heat up between them. Then the red dress happened and there was no turning back. :)
Being sucked into that literary vortex of all things dramatic, melancholy and depressing for quite some time now, I needed to put aside the Virgin Riverites and Regency rakes & rogues and read something uplifting. She picks! She scores! lol I LOVED this book! The hero is Luc Martineau, a Canadian hottie who plays professional hockey for the Seattle Chinooks. He is drop-dead gorgeous with a lean, athletic body and a killer tattoo that begins at the base of his hoohaa and peeks out from the
This is the second book I've read by Rachel Gibson and I really liked it! I liked it more than the first one in this series but both are excellent.I loved Luc and his uncomplicated life that was made complicated by Jane, a woman unlike any female Luc had dated. While at first she was a nuisance, he couldn't stop noticing her. And then eventually against his better judgement, didn't want to stop.Jane was a very relatable character. She wasn't the 'barbie' style Luc often gravitated towards but

4 stars. The hockey action was great; the storyline not overly original but not bad. While I really liked the H/h as individuals, I just felt that I couldn't fully connect with them and was dubious as to how they connected together.Jane Alcott started off as a wallflower reporter who found herself attracted and falling for Luc Martineau, the Seattle Chinooks' goalie. Their interactions started off cold and iffy but the gradual mutual attraction came through and they found themselves liking (andRe-read, again, 12/12/2015++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++Re-read 04/13/2014 --Overall Rating = 3.5 StarsBook Cover / Book Blurb / Book Title = 3 / 4 / 2 = 3 StarsWriters Voice = 3 StarsCharacter Development = 3.5 StarsStory Appreciation = 3.5 StarsEnding = 5 StarsWorth the Chili = 5 Stars -- [$3.79 on Amazon]Smexy [HEAT] Rating = Moderate384 pagesOriginal rating was 5 Stars.
