Who or what is Taylor Lane?

Most people go through life unaware of the war between light and dark raging just beyond their field of vision. They live blissful, ordinary lives, but that is a luxury Taylor will never have. With a single birthday wish, she is thrown into a war between Eve's angels and Lilith's demons.

Bestowed with the magical ability to control light and adorned with the sight of supernatural races, Taylor is forced to fight for her own survival. Then Lucian, her shadowy protector, enters her life and heart. But there’s something dark inside of him: he’s a vampire, the original Dark One.

With her mother murdered and a hideous beast out for her blood, Taylor has no choice but to put her faith in Lucian and go to war as she tries to unravel the mystery of who she truly is.

Crit Out Of Books Eternal Entity (The Celestial Rose #1)
Not-so-secretly, I enjoy delving into YA books, if and when they do not come across as something too young. I prefer the older YA, often with less censoring and more realism. This book brings that. I am also not a fan of mushy and happy outcomes to every bad situation. In my perspective, bad things (especially the terrible things the protagonist deals with) leave a dark mark on a person (or multiple people). To ignore the darkness that builds behind every tragedy is unrealistic and difficult to

I fell in love with this cover as soon as I saw it. How could I not? It's absolutely gorgeous and reminds me of The Tether Saga book covers. I know you're not supposed to judge a book by its cover, but it's this cover that had me approaching the author. Luckily, she said sure and here we are!The Good:Holy cow! This story will pick you up and not just carry you, but will sprint with you until the end. That doesn't mean that the story is even slightly rushed, but that once you start this book, you

I received a copy of this book for a fair and honest review. I am all for a war between the light and the dark, but the sad and unfortunate truth is there is alway something or someone caught in the middle of this. This is a war between angels and demons. It is the eternal war that seems to have been going on since the beginning of time. Now Taylor is the one caught in the middle and it seems to do nothing but bring her pain, few answers and....a protector. That is all very intense and sexy. I

Eternal Entity is another great book, the first by this author from what I can tell too. I'm excited for book two!

Taylor Lane is denied the most simple pleasures of life from the moment she beholds the hooded man in the metro who isnt there as a passenger. As one of three survivors in what the papers touted as a terrorist attack, Taylor recognizes that far more evil forces are at work in the blast that kills her mother and destroys the train station. While the book seems like a teen-aged dystopian novel with matching dialogue, the plot is much more sophisticated. As I pondered the theme of the novel as I
