Tremor (Pulse #2)
Like all who have “the pulse,” Faith Daniels and Dylan Gilmore have telekinetic powers—they can move objects with their minds. But there are five “second pulses” in the world who have an even greater power: Almost nothing can harm them. They are virtually indestructible.
Both Faith and Dylan have the second pulse. But the other side has second pulses, too, and they’ve been training for a war that has been brewing their entire lives. As Dylan executes a plan to infiltrate enemy grounds, he’ll have to face his only weakness, and a family secret that will threaten his very existence.
Together, Faith and Dylan are the only hope this world has left, but they must go their separate ways in order to accomplish their plan. Will their love survive?
With richly developed characters and heart-pounding action scenes, the second book in Patrick Carman’s Pulse trilogy continues the electrifying dystopian story of love and revenge.
It was a very interesting book that opened up in a clever way but, the middle was a little distasteful and boring and lacked much action. The ending was very good wanting me to read another.
I received an ARC of this book from the publisher.I am so thrilled with this series so far. This second book in the Pulse series was filled with action from start to finish. We are still in the dark about some things, but so are the main characters. However, this novel is beautifully written and can only be described as original perfection. The only issue I had (and this is probably just my girlie side talking) was Faith. She was so driven by hate and anger in this book that I feel we lost who

Faith Daniels and Dylan Gilmore are part of the drifters. She is always mad and enraged and takes it upon the people with the first pulse. When Clara and Wade are found with their father, Andre and their mother, Gretchen, and a group of first pulse at a maximum security prison, ( abandoned, of course)Faith, Dylan, Hawk, and Clooger goes to stop what they are doing. Dylan goes to meet his Andre, his dad and help as an inside man, while everyone else waits outside and strike when the time comes.
Overall the book wasn't too bad. I love the plot but a lot of the characters just annoy me. It almost seemed to me like they devolved from having individual personalities in Pulse to just the one character in Tremor where the only distinguishing feature in the way they characters thought or spoke was the name at the end of the quote. This book would have gotten more stars from me if the characters were more developed. Especially the rebellion leaders. Would have loved to see them as more of
COVER!Pulse was absolutely fabulous. I hope this one is even better!SO EXCITED!
Oh dear. I really didnt enjoy this book, and Im not looking forward to the third one. At first I was pretty ambivalent, I didnt care about the characters, I didnt care what happened to them, but there was nothing really offensive happening. If anything I was just confused, as I really didnt understand what was happening. Then I started to get quite annoyed and bored.Prisons being lifted into the air, the throwing around of washing machines and train cars with just their minds, random air attacks,

Amazing as the last book. Currently on the third book! I love the Atherton series by this author, and this series is my favorite of all time. (Except the Harry Potter series of course)It was a very interesting book that opened up in a clever way but, the middle was a little distasteful and boring and lacked much action. The ending was very good wanting me to read another.
