I really tried. My son loves this series, but I just couldn't get interested enough to finish more than the first. Kids who want a series with lots of adventure, and who don't care about having many, many characters with difficult names to remember, will most likely love this series.

I think this book is a 4 star. The reason I didn't give it a 5 star is because I like introductions instead of them with all intros at the start. But the book was overall really good.

Okay, so I've been a fan of the Warriors series since the very beginning. I have read every book (good and bad) religiously and still consider it one of my all time favorite book series out there. And while the fourth series was somewhat of a disappointment, this book proved that the Erins are still full of ideas and full of splendor.Admittedly, I was a little wary about reading this one, as I was not much of a fan of Sun Trail until near the end. But this book surpasses Sun Trail in every way.

I personally believe this series is so much more manageable then the others because there are less cats. Thunder has been an interesting character to follow and although I love gray wing Ive enjoyed reading from a different perspective. I love how he struggles with where he belongs and really debates the options which for me makes him a likeable character. Im enjoying seeing how the mountain cats are getting used to the forest and moor and finding where they belong. This book really shows what

Have to admit, some of these characters are really getting on my nerves. Plot remains steadfastly within the Warriors world, though.

Thoughts:-I really think Gray Wing is gonna die soon-Clear Sky... a total ass, but the author keeps giving hints that he still has some feeling underneath his cold exterior. Total bs to that. Even the baddest cats in the main Warriors series weren't total asses like Clear Sky. God he annoys me.-Thunder. Kind of sad when he left Gray Wing, but it's all good now. I gotta admit.. this season is my least favourite out of every warrior cats books. Solely because I think reading about something for six books, you know everything about and how it will end is kinda boring. It sure is nice to see all the connections between then and now, and to "guess" who will start what. But most of the time it is just obvious and in my opinion it draged a little... Sorry
