***ARC received by publisher for review purposes***Ill admit that what first caught my attention to this book was the freaking gorgeous cover. This is one of the prettiest covers I have seen and it had a certain creep factor that reminded me a little of the opening credits of the Chriss Angel show, Mindfreak. And of course, the fact that it was about reapers pretty much had me sold and I knew this was a book I had to read.Due to a near death experience, Ari can now see the ghost of deadMost of my knowledge of reapers comes from On A Pale Horse by Piers Anthony and the television series Dead Like Me. This was an interesting idea that there would be one reaper per state and Niko being the reaper of Georgia.
it was an amazing book! I loved Reapers they were and interesting bunch of characters. My Favourite part was the in-between place, I think everyone should have a place like this that they can go, where the world drops away and your will is yours.I loved the family dynamic in this book there was so much love between the characters! between Ari and her sister, between Ari and her friends, especially her best friend Ben, and Ari and her Parents. The book wasn't without drama of course but I really

First I have to say that I have read a few Reaper books this year and only one has come close to being EPIC in every way. reaping Me Softly grabbed me right from the first page and kept me intrigued all the way through. I found myself yelling at the book and trying to coach Ari and Niko like I knew what to do. Man it is such a refreshing read from what I have been reading that I did not want it to end. Then when I did a little more research I found out that the story did not end but will
Before getting into my review Id like to take a little time to admire the cover for this book. Its absolutely stunning, and one of the main reasons I decided to give this book a try. Beauty isnt all it has going for it though, its actually pretty significant to the story. In fact I actually found myself looking back at the cover while reading and thinking, I totally get it now! Interested in knowing what Im talking about, well youll just have to read to find out! (I tease, I know) Now on to the
I will not be continuing with this series.I really don't know how to rate this. I really just don't know how I finally feel after reading this unfortunately. I liked it a little but at the same time I didn't really care for anything or anybody in the story. So, 2 stars? Maybe? *exasperated sigh*[image error]
I would like to thank Kate Evangelista for giving me a copy of Reaping Me Softly in exchange for an honest review. I had seen Kates requests for reviewers on YA/NA fanatics and while this book sounded interesting I had read a few books like this before (the most recent being The Reapers Novice and the one that stood out the most being Croak), and Im not a big fan of insta-love so considering these things I decided not to request a copy of Reaping Me Softly. But, thanks to a happy accident Kate
