Chronicle During Books Waterfall (Teardrop #2)

Eureka’s tears have flooded the earth, and now Atlantis is rising, bringing with it its evil king, Atlas. Eureka is the only one who can stop him, but first she must learn how to fight. She travels across the ocean with Cat, her family, and Ander, the gorgeous and mysterious Seedbearer who promises to help her find Solon, an enigmatic lost Seedbearer who knows how to defeat Atlas.

Once on land, Eureka is taunted by gossipwitches, a group of displaced Atlantean sorceresses, and ambushed by locals struggling to survive amid the destruction her tears have wrought. And she feels no closer to facing Atlas or saving the world when Solon lets slip that love is Ander’s weakness, and that any affection he feels toward her makes him age faster.

Trying to make sense of the dark world her sorrow has created, Eureka receives startling insight from an enchanted pond. Her bewildering reflection reveals a soul-crushing secret: if she’s strong enough, Eureka can draw on this knowledge to defeat Atlas—unless her broken heart is just what he needs to fuel his rising kingdom...

Assessment Regarding Books Waterfall (Teardrop #2)
I loved Lauren Kate's Fallen series so I decided to start reading her new Teardrop series. I enjoyed Teardrop so I continued on with Waterfall but the whole time I just wanted it to end. The whole story just really confused me. I couldn't understand what was happening and I had to keep flipping back pages so I could remember what was happening. I was just totally confused the whole time. I also couldn't connect to any of the characters. The only thing I liked about this novel was Ander, who I

Okay so I just finished 'Waterfall' and I'm kinda thinking what the hell!? But to start I didn't hate it I liked both 'Teardrop' and 'Waterfall'. I really liked the unique story and concepts and I've never personally read a book like this. when I started 'Teardrop' I had a really hard time getting into it because I seriously disliked Eureka but then I grew to love/hate her for she is unlike most female protagonist in YA. So when I got 'Waterfall' I was really looking forward to learning more

I felt like i was forcing myself to read this book :( excuse review if it has weird pronouns like 'you' when referring to EurekaI was wavering between giving this book a two or a three. it was so hard to decide but I gave it a 2. though the rating is rounded up and I wish I could have given it a solid 2.5.to be honest this book was a complete let down. I was utterly disappointed by the ending. it was horrible. the start of the book, was ok, and that's nice. I'm sure there are people who would

This is the second book in the series following last year's opening instalment 'Teardrop'. I have to say that I didn't enjoy this one as much as the first book. I got quite confused about what was going on, particularly in the second half of the story and I found the pace very slow. I put this one down and picked it up again several times before I actually managed to finish the whole thing. I am disappointed because I was so looking forward to reading it and had such high hopes about it that I

I hate this book so much.

Just... Wow! I HATED Waterfall! And although it wasn't as good as the books in the Fallen series, I still really enjoyed Teardrop. Mostly just for the romance between Ander and Eureka. I did like Brooks, what we did get to see of the real him. Although he spent most of the time in both books already controlled by Atlas, and we didn't get to know him much before that. I cared absolutely nothing for a single other character, and although some parts of the mythology were interesting, for the most
