I recommend the whole series!

Another great little historical biography full of fascinating cultural context and details. Some people suggest that this book is for young children, but like any good children's book it is fascinating for teens and adults as well, who will understand more of it than younger readers.A good accompaniment to studies of ancient history, history of medicine, and Roman civilization.

I didn't like this as much as her book on Archimedes, but the kids liked it more.

I have to say I did not expect much frim this book. but it has been a very delightful read for us. ine we looked forward to.



Excellent biography for upper elementary. It went really well with our science studies on the human body.spoiler: at the end, he dies.
